You can search for child care providers using our online database. After entering information about your unique needs, a list of providers will be created.
MyChildCarePlan.org is a search and support website that exists to put trustworthy information and the power in the hands of families so that they have what they need to make the right choices for their children and providers can easily promote their services to families who need them.
Contact 4Cs Resource and Referral Team
Resource and Referral (R&R) staff are available to assist you, generate a list of providers based on your needs, answer questions and provide resources on how to select a provider. 4Cs R&R staff are available Monday to Friday from 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. at (650) 517-1460 and (650) 517-1461 (Español).
Our database includes approximately 1,000 childcare providers in San Mateo County. The database includes licensed providers as well as some programs that are exempt from licensing. Please note that our database is voluntary and therefore does not include all child care providers, only those who gave 4Cs permission to include them.
Referrals Outside of San Mateo County
Every county in California has a Resource and Referral (R&R) Agency that provides free referrals to child care in that county. If you are a parent who is looking for childcare in a county other than San Mateo, please call us to find your local R&R Agency or call 1-800-KIDS-793.
