4Cs has resources to help you find a child care provider that fits your family’s needs.
Search for child care providers using our online database. After entering information about your unique needs, a list of providers will be created.
Our database includes approximately 1,000 child care providers in San Mateo County. The database includes licensed providers as well as some programs that are exempt from licensing. Please note that our database is voluntary and therefore does not include all child care providers, only those who gave 4Cs permission to include them.
Resource and Referral (R&R) staff are available to assist you, answer questions and provide resources to help you find and select a care provider.
4Cs R&R staff are available Monday to Friday from 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. at (650) 517-1460 (English) and (650) 517-1461(Español) or email us.
Every county in California has a Resource and Referral (R&R) Agency that provides free referrals to child care in that county. If you are a parent who is looking for child care in a county other than San Mateo, please call us to find your local R&R Agency or call 1-800-KIDS-793.
