This is a series of 6 sessions to prepare you to have a successful Family Child Care Business.
Participants are encouraged to attend all six sessions but some exceptions can be made with prior notice. Light breakfast is included. Lunch and Childcare will not be included.
Session four will inform you of having awareness around having a license. Topics that will be covered are as follows:
  • Community Care Licensing Common Deficiencies: Talk about the common deficiencies from recent years that Licensing has found.
  • Inclusion 101: Learn about how to be inclusive, signs of trauma/delays, how to have difficult conversations with parents, and resources in the community.
  • Child Care Laws: Come learn about new laws that have recently passed and see how it will affect you and your business.
