Studies show that when children have at least one supportive system of care, it can buffer much of the toxic stress that comes from trauma. After completion of part 1 of “Using a Trauma-Informed Lens Working with Young Children”, participants will learn survival responses to trauma and how to identify them, strategies of how to best support children with trauma, internal and external resources caregivers can use, and strategies to utilize in the classroom.
