This training curriculum provides the eight hours of EMSA approved, Preventative Health training required for child care licensing. The core content of the Preventive Health and Safety training curriculum (excluding Pediatric CPR and First Aid) is arranged into three modules:
Module 1: Prevention of Infectious Disease; Module 2: Prevention of Injuries; and Module 3: Nutrition.
The curriculum is for child care providers who are new to the field or experienced early care and education professionals who are taking the course to refresh their knowledge and assure they are up-to-date. This is our 5th Edition, renewed in June 2022. The 5th Edition contains the required lead poisoning prevention and nutrition content. The class starts at 8:30 AM, sign in on time to be admitted to the class via Zoom. Camera must be on at all times to confirm attendance. Please register soon, space is limited.

Doors will close promptly at 9am and you must attend the full day to obtain the certification. In consideration of participants and instructor children are not permitted in the class. Please note no refunds will be given or spaces reserved without payment. Space is limited register soon. Please bring a bagged lunch or snack. Participants must register with Mirna Hardy and pay prior to attending class. No payments will be accepted the day of training no exceptions.
