Join Maryanne Patterson, M.A. for an informative workshop on Hiring and Interviewing Do’s and Don’ts in the ECE world. You will gain information about the challenge of recruiting, preparing, and retaining good teachers. Also, you will learn about creating job descriptions, effective interviewing, and how to recognize teachers.

Maryanne studied at San Francisco State and has a Master’s from Pacific Oaks. She has worked as a family child care provider,director for city government, national for profit child care program, military setting and worked at the administration county-level and state level funding state preschool programs. She has been teaching early childhood education classes at Canada College since 2002.  She also works as a professional growth advisor with early childhood educators. This is a great networking opportunity for all Directors of child care centers providing services for children and families in San Mateo County.
