Challenging conversations are an inevitable part of building strong and trusting relationships with the families we serve. Although, these conversations can be uncomfortable, they are also opportunities for self-reflection and personal and professional growth. In this workshop, we explore how our own biases may affect when and how we experience conversations as challenging and how we can take a step back and have more compassion and understanding for ourselves and the parents in our programs. We will also practice applying a strengths-based approach to effectively engage in challenging conversations. Hope to see you there
