The Desired Results Development Profile (DRDP) is an observational-based child assessment tool designed to suppport teachers in observing, documenting and reflecting on children’s learning. The DRDP is aligned with the California Infant/Toddler Learning & Development Foundations and Curriculum Frameworks. This one-time workshop on the DRDP-2010 child assessment tool will include the following:
- Review the purpose of observation;
- Learn how to develop systems for observing and collecting evidence;
- Understand the importance of review and reflecting on documentation; and
- Become familiar with DRDP rating measures.
This workshop is one of several workshops on the DRDP-2010 that will be offered by the SMCOE over the course of the 2014-15 school year.
